why “aesthetic” is a wonderful term
- appreciation for clothing/music styles without supporting an otherwise unpleasant culture (1950’s US, 1940’s Europe, Middle Ages)
- saying something is pretty without sexualizing it
- an affinity you don’t have to explain with words
- blogs full of pretty pictures of waves and glitter and crap
